The most broken Drain Health is, apparently, one that lowers the enemy's endurance by 100 and drains 100 health on touch. True, Spiff showed this off in ES4 but there might be a way to replicate it in ES3, although the exploit with casting buffs combined with soul trap on the floor seems like it would be way better for general use.

It really doesn't make sense that Skyrim doesn't have spears, since Scandinavians were known for using them quite a bit and a spear is the most basic of all weapons; a sharpened stick in the most simple design. Seems fitting for a bunch of brutes that like to attack someone a foot taller than them, who is clad in full Daedric armor and wielding a flaming greatsword made from the corpse of a dragon and enchanted with the soul of the last person who attacked them with a butter knife over stealing something worth five Septims from their house, using a butter knife of their own while quoting Mario Mario.

Why did they ever nerf magic in Elder Scrolls? Being able to just pop away and make a spell to help with your predicament and then pop back is awesome. That guy in Castle Volkihar is totally right about magic's versatility.

I've always thought vampirism in the Elder Scrolls games was more of a pain than it's worth. It's just highly inconvenient. But Morrowind's version straight-up sucks. I get that the added power is meant to balance out how much it ruins the game, but it really doesn't. Unless you've already done every quest in the game and you're just bored and want to kill everyone, I cannot imagine why the average person would go out of their way to get cursed.

I believe that the phone analogy was going to be "Spellcasting is the cellphone, Magicka the battery. Enchanted items are like separate devices, like a clock, a phone, a game console, and whatever the fuck else, each with their own battery". But he had a stroke while writing the script, didn't fix it immediately, and then when he read it again either forgot or gave up, which is hilarious to think about.
